GUSTO GIVES BACK

Gusto Gives Back is our commitment to making a difference in the world and communities where we operate. Our primary charitable focus are causes that feed and teach people, especially children, how to eat in a healthy and sustainable way. With that in mind we partner with charitable organizations and initiatives that advocate healthy eating and have a mission to eliminate hunger and poverty.

GUSTO 54 MINI CHEFS

GUSTO 54 MINI CHEFS

Mini Chefs program offers students a unique opportunity to learn about the fundamentals of nutrition in a fun, interactive, food-based setting.

Housed at Cafe ZUZU, Mini Chefs in 2023 focuses on collaborating with Regent Park-based organizations. Currently the Mini Chefs curriculum is designed to be a 6-session, 1/week after school program for students grades 5-8, but we're not stopping there.

THE STOP COMMUNITY FOOD CENTRE

THE STOP COMMUNITY FOOD CENTRE

Since 2013, Gusto 54 has supported The Stop’s critical anti-hunger and anti-poverty programs by participating in their annual “Night Market” and “What’s on the Table” events. These annual fundraising events feature a captivating mash-up of the best of Toronto’s food, art and music scenes, and have played an integral role in driving their goal to create stronger, healthier communities from coast to coast. We are a proud sponsor and supporter of The Stop’s mission.

FOODSHARE

FOODSHARE

1 in 8 Toronto households face food insecurity – that’s hundreds of thousands too many people. In 2019, Gusto 54 has partnered with FoodShare to join the fight against food insecurity through a shared vision of providing “Good Healthy Food for All”. On Monday’s, $1 from select items at each of our restaurants are donated to FoodShare in support of programs that feed and teach people in the Toronto community how to eat in healthy and sustainable ways.
