SANGRIA 101

There’s nothing we love more than a glass (or, ideally, a pitcher) of ice-cold sangria on a hot summer’s day. In 4 super simple steps, this Gusto-approved boozy bevvy with fresh fruit (because #health), will have you creating sangria *magic* at your next patio party.

Ingredients:

2 oz. Brandy

2 oz. Tequila

2 oz. Peach Schnappes

2 oz. Cointreau

2 oz. Lemon juice

2 oz. Orange juice

2 oz. Simple syrup

6 oz. Limonata

6 oz. Aranciata

9 oz. of wine of your choice (Note: We love a good Cabernet Sauvignon!)

Fresh fruit (We used sliced green apples, peaches, oranges, limes, lemons, blackberries, and blueberries)

Booze in formation

Method:

  1. Pour all liquids into a tall pitcher.
  2. Add 2 large scoops of ice.
  3. Thinly slice 3 lemon wheels, 3 lime wheels, 3 orange wheels. Add sliced fruit and a handful of blueberries and blackberries to pitcher.
  4. Stir well. Add additional fruit garnish to glass (if desired), pour and serve!
