Join Our Team Server



As a server at Gusto 54, you are responsible for creating transporting and memorable dining experiences for every guest that you serve. You will be expected to come to work with a positive attitude, excited to work as a team to reach one common goal: that every guest leaves happy.

*This is currently a seasonal role.

The Scope of the Role and Responsibilities are as follows:

  • Take orders, deliver food and drink in a timely manner
  • Communicate daily specials and make recommendations to guests
  • Cultivate unique and memorable dining experience for guests
  • Handle cash and process payments
  • Serve alcohol in accordance with Ontario Law
  • Study to maintain strong product and menu knowledge
  • Follow Health and Safety Standards when handling food
  • Partake in regular testing to ensure product knowledge is to standard (70%+)
  • Attend regularly scheduled training meetings to develop knowledge and skills

Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • Previous serving experience in high volume environment
  • Experience with Aloha or similar POS
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Multi-tasking abilities
  • Team player mindset
  • Knowledge of Italian food and wine an asset
  • Positive attitude
  • Smart Serve Certification

Reports to: General Manager, All Managers

About the job availability
