We’re now in the business of baking Italian bread

With the launch of the Gusto 54 commissary kitchen comes the irresistible aroma of fresh baked Italian bread. That’s because we’ll soon be the supplier of bread to all our restaurants. Yup, no more outsourcing to Toronto bakeries, we’ve got this handled.

“My team has been working diligently to develop the best bread recipes possible and we’ve been baking a whole lotta bread,” says Gusto 54 Corporate Executive Chef Tony Glitz. “Soon we’ll be our own supplier of fresh baked bread and I love that we can control the quality.”

It’s not just about bread though. The Gusto 54 commissary kitchen will soon start producing other products for our restaurants, including pasta sauces, fresh pasta and gelato. Stay tuned!
